Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3
Reviews au Courant
July 08, 2008
Despite its short campaign and repetitive nature, Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 proves to be an exciting action game for one to three players. It's not quite as good as the two games that came before it, but that shouldn't keep you from having a fantastic time battling warlords and killing evil soldiers. Find out what John Bertagnoli thought of Capcom's newest PlayStation Network action games when you check out his review of Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 for the PlayStation 3!
Is 'Gears of War' Racist?
Freeze Frame
July 07, 2008
Freeze Frame ( Ep. 73) - So you've heard that Resident Evil 5 is racist, eh? Well, I bet you didn't know that we could say the exact same thing about Gears of War. It's true, and you can see how we got there by checking out today's episode of The Freeze Frame. Better yet, you can watch it. Join us as we prove to you that Resident Evil 5 is no more racist than Gears of War!

Weekend Update
July 06, 2008
Even the 4th of July weekend isn't going to keep us from reviewing a couple old school games. This weekend we take a couple of real disappointing titles, including T2: The Arcade Game. While we can understand the appeal of the arcade game, this Game Gear port is a real mess. Also messy is Matt Coomer's review of Pen Pen TriIcelon. Click here and check out both of these brand new reviews!
T2: The Arcade Game
Review - Game Gear
July 05, 2008
I can understand Terminator 2 as an arcade game and maybe even a console game ... but a handheld game? For this review Cyril had to brave the future and the past in order to come back with the goods. But does T2: The Arcade Game for the Game Gear hold up? I bet you already know the answer to that question, but you should still read Cyril's full review to find out!
Pen Pen TriIcelon
Review - Dreamcast
July 05, 2008
The Olympic Games are almost here, so why not celebrate them a little early by checking out Pen Pen TriIcelon? This is a quirky little game where you guide a penguin-like creature through three different competitions. Is the idea quirky enough to work? Find out now when you read Matt Coomer's review of Pen Pen TriIcelon for the Sega Dreamcast!

This Week in Defunct Games
July 03, 2008
It's time once again for This Week in Defunct Games, the show that recaps all of the best (and worst) retro games of the week. This week may feel light, but we actually have a couple of well-known fighting games to talk about. On the Virtual Console we have Fatal Fury 2, a classic Neo Geo game that improves on the original. And then there's Soul Calibur on the Xbox Live Arcade. Find out why we have a hard time recommending these games when you read another exciting episode of This Week in Defunct Games!
EGM Aug. '06 - Dragon Quest IX on Wii?
They Said WHAT?!?
July 02, 2008
They Said WHAT?!? (Ep. 16) - It's been awhile since we've checked in with EGM's gossip guru, Quartermann. So why not see what he's up to in a brand new episode of They Said WHAT?!? That's right; this is the show where we debunk each and every one of the Q-Mann's rumors. In this episode we talk about Batman, a Mother compilation, World of Mana and Dragon Quest for the Wii. This is one episode you won't want to miss ... especially if you're a big fan of making fun of Electronic Gaming Monthly!
R-Type Command
Reviews au Courant
July 01, 2008
You're not going to find a perfect game in R-Type Command, but what you will find is an engrossing tactical role-playing game that turns the genre on its side. While some long-time fans of the franchise may be disappointed by the slow-pace, R-Type Command is the type of crazy mash-up I want to see more of in the future!
